Course Description:

Advanced Carry I is the first in a series of progressive handgun classes.  It is designed to enhance your marksmanship by focusing on core skills, which transform average gun handlers into accomplished shooters.

The successful shooter will learn about handgun nomenclature, firearm maintenance, ballistics, and the fundamentals of pistol marksmanship. The student will understand why gross motor skill movements are more effective under stress, learn how to re-load efficiently, and how to effectively gain target acquisition from a holster.

Through discussion and practical application students will develop the skills to diagnose and correct malfunctions. Participants will perform specific drills designed to improve accuracy and confidence in their handgun weapon system.

This Course will be instructed by accomplished instructors with a background in competition and Law Enforcement training.  There will be an emphasis on safety and accuracy; improving each shooters skill regardless of current ability.

Necessary equipment:

Medium to full size semi-auto pistol, holster, 2-3 Magazines, Mag Puch, A Good Belt, Eye and Ear Protection, Baseball style cap, 150-200 rounds of ammunition, Weather appropriate attire, Water

Necessary Equipment: 100 Rounds of Ammunition, Eye and Ear Protection, Weather Appropriate Attire, Pistol (If you are using one of our guns prior arrangements should be made.)

In addition to teaching, both instructors have a competition background, with an extreme desire to see improvement in the ability of their students.
